Talks and outreach
I enjoy explaining my science, whether to fellow scientists at conferences and seminars, from Kyoto to Cambridge, or to anyone curious about other worlds. Outreach is my way of giving back to the public: in Groningen I talk about exoplanets at the Eureka! science festival, at the Blaauw Observatory, in a bar for Astronomy on Tap, and to high-school students thinking about studying astronomy.
